Went back to malaysia KL this time for Comic Fiesta 2011! shall cut the story short, but i can tell you the keywords:

cosed on day 2~ couldn't even get to CF on day 1 cause there were too many ppl T__T
did basara with sasuke-dragon as Date Masamune and moster82 as my sasukeeeee
the most memorable thing has got to be the random tap-on-the-shoulder that we suddenly got, where some photogs were trying to get our attention.
we thought they wanted to take photos of us (which wasn't allowed in the event hall) and declined-- but they told us they were sent "ON A MISSION TO GET YOU GUYS TO THE ARTISTS' BOOTH OVER THERE" /points in said direction.
when we turned around to look towards said direction, we saw the CF artists waving at us enthusiastically and calling our names to get us to come over XDDD

it was a really happy feeling, i don't really know how to describe
to put it simply--massive mutual fangirling afterwards -w-
DO YOU KNOW HOW HARD IT IS TO FIND BASARA FAN ART OR MERCH?!?!?! XDDDD

we had a small shoot outside the event hall, but the binding was really tiring me out so i lost stamina quickly. had to keep getting breaks and -thank you sasuke for being a pillowrest- lying on the floor--ended up falling asleep while waiting for the others to finish their share of phototaking orz

overall CF was really relaxing this year and i won't hesitate to go again next year XD

started out like this:

sis: we're having a midnight steamboat.

mum: so. any of your friends coming?

mum: i already bought everything you know.

me: you countdown-- and go--THREE. TWO. ONE. HAPPY NEW YEAR--/dig in.

had a utage marathon I'M NOT KIDDING with sasuke-dragon Vega-Highwell xdead-shadowx and evelyn who has no dA or maybe she has but i duno what's her name 8D
we started steamboating at 1 plus and then UTAGE'D FROM 3AM TO FRIGGING 10.30AM IN THE MORNING AND WAS FORCED TO SHUT DOWN BY PARENTS.

nevertheless after a short 'rest' aka breakfast-- UTAGE was back up  |D

I actually do not have much to say. .__.

haven't been to any events since after cosfest in july, and haven't had much motivation to do anything with regards to cosplay either.
i've been rotting at home playing basara occasionally. my younger brother now plays it more than i do.

the event where yes! after waiting for so long, our basara team finally realized!

after a year of fangirling, months of angsting and having to confront discouraging points in life,
\ o /
finally managed to finish the costume with the others ;w;

for the one whole week leading to afa i've turned my living room into some sort of factory ahaha XD
it really helps when you have your brother playing basara on the HDTV to motivate you
was really worried my costume or armour will start falling apart because of the last minute-ness of my prepping..
(i used uhu glue and double sided tape for almost everything .__.)
so yes! it was a huge relief for me when i see that my costume actually looks alright on photos <3


have nothing much to say about afa, except that there are way too many people and not enough space.
and i felt like a zoo exhibit >__>
people taking pictures of you whether you're posing or not, like dude i'm resting behind a door and you still want to take a photo of me?

had to hide in the cargo door to the carpark for a good five minutes.

gotta prepare for the gakuen version for this sunday's Asia Cosplay Meet to be held at Orchard Central in Singapore!
of course we'll be there to support our fellow BASARA mates!!!
